Grand Haven Department of Public Safety T.E.A.M. Program

The Resistance Run is organized and coordinated by the Grand Haven Department of Public Safety. This 5-K and 10-K running event is a fundraiser for the department's T.E.A.M. Program (Formerly known as D.A.R.E.).

For over 20 years, Grand Haven Department of Public Safety provides a police officer to coordinate and teach within the Grand Haven Area Public Schools. The Liaison Officer teaches life skills that are necessary to help students make good decisions and positive choices while at the same time avoiding substance abuse and violent situations online and in person.

Additionally, the T.E.A.M. Program establishes positive relationships between students and law enforcement, teachers, parents and other community leaders.

All proceeds from the Resistance Run will help to provide educational tools, materials and information to accomplish this mission. Your support of this event is sincerely appreciated.
